Kempty falls is a 40 minute drive from Dandelion by the Hills. Falling from a height of 4.500 ft., kempty falls was developed initially by a British officer for organizing tea parties. It is now one of the most famous picnic spots near Mussoorie known for it’s sparkling streams of water. You can spend a good time taking a dip in the freshwater or go boating in the nearby manmade pond.

55 kms away from Dandelion by the Hills lies the historic Lakhamandal temple, comprising of many small temples and is famous for the lingam Idol of Lord Shiva. Connected to the Mhabharata epic, it is said to be the place where Duryodhan got the Lakha palace (house of wax) built, to get the Pandavs killed. Getting aware of the evil plan of Duryodhan, the Pandavs carved their way out by digging a tunnel, which now is known as the Pandav caves.
